Nostalgic memories

Today when I go for a morning walk with my friend, I came across the tree with those tropical berries. This has awoken some of the fun times  in my childhood memories. I used to walk with my dad in the evening to the nearby small forest that are aught to be develop to a highway road. That was the first time I encounter this berries (Muntingia calabura) learned that it is edible. After that, my dad has chop off some of its branches to be planted in front of our house. My brother had help in the planting process and it's really fun. This tree is good for shading from the sun, that's what my dad suggested.

After some time, the tree grow really well and start producing flowers and fruits. I always remember how the bees polinated the flower when I was looking for the ripe fruits below the trees. I used to search for the fruits whenever I am free from day to day. However the tree died when my family have moved to another house. Seems like the spirit of the trees to live on have wilted off when we moved on another area. When I known that I can no longer enjoy my time searching for fruits under the sun, I came across this tree by the roadside a few years later and it's full of ripen fruits. I can't believe my eyes as this fruits commonly targeted by sparrow. While I was so happy in plucking those berries I didn't even notice I have held the tiny caterpillar (below right corner) in my palm and bring it home. Even though I scared of worm, however this has revive a great memories that I had shared with my family in my childhood time.
